Captured Moments is thrilled to announce the location of our 8th Anniversary Celebration Crop! We will be returning to the New York Nurses Foundation at  2113 Western Avenue, Guilderland, NY on Saturday, September 22nd, 2012 from 9am until 10pm!

The Foundation is nestled in the middle of beautiful park-like grounds away from the hustle and bustle of Route 20, surrounded by trees and natural beauty. When we were there back in 2010, we recognized some lighting issues as it got later in the day. Those issues have been resolved with the availability to other areas of the Foundation opening up to our event, so this year should prove to be bigger and better!!
Aside from all our regular crop fun, we will offer those off-site crop classes, make & take and lots of prize opportunities. Our “off-site” version of Captured Moments, the store, will be on-hand as well for all your last minute scrapbooking needs and shopping desires!
Croppers will enjoy a continental style breakfast upon arrival, snacks throughout the day, and a  tasty lunch spread.  Our Anniversary Crop will feature the home cooking of ScrapDaddy (our Dad) and his amazing secret recipe sauce and meatballs. Be prepared for the best, authentic, Italian meal ever for dinner!
We hope you will crop with us as we celebrate our 8th wonderful year as Captured Moments! Registration for the Anniversary Crop is now open!
The suggestion of returning to the Nurses Foundation was made by Nancy during our Blog call-out for venue ideas and Sheree  filled us in on space availability within the facility, which ultimately led to our securing this date and location. Thank you ladies… we have a little something waiting for you at the store!!

Captured Moments is excited to introduce something new and exciting for our Blog. We are starting our first “Blog Book Challenge” and we want lot’s of followers to take us up on the challenge!

Book, Fabric Tabs, Envelopes, and Chipboard shapes makes up the complete project kit.

There are a couple of ways you can participate in this challenge. We will list the basic supplies needed to complete the project. Ultimately, you will be creating a “Day Book”, which is a mini scrapbook that memorializes life on a day to day basis in a small, fun and interesting book! We have ordered the Amy Tangerine Day Book called “Hug Life” from American Crafts. Along with the book, we have added fun embellishments like a coordinating envelope pack, linen tabs and chipboard shapes. You can purchase the complete Blog Challenge Book set for $28. Take a 180 degree turn to this month’s Kit Terrific Klub kit! Last month was a shabby chic, girly-girly through and through and this month is as opposite to that as possible! When Tiffany selected the American Crafts “Chaps” collection, I was surprised, but I never second guess Tiffany’s kit klub decisions. She was so excited about it, I just couldn’t wait to see what she would do to it. Chaps isn’t necessarily “all-boy”, but a real back-to-basics kind of kit that is very primary, clean and crisp. All of the papers are named with boy names, so let me introduce to you… this month’s boys!
