New Card Class Scheduled at Captured Moments

Classes at the Store, Store News and Events No Comments

Michelle’s “Tart & Tangy” card class was a great success… everyone left with their eight beautiful cards completed, along with envelopes and smiles, so… we have asked Michelle to schedule more card classes at Captured Moments! Her next class is Tuesday, September 21st at 6pm-8pm. This class is called ”Artistic Etchings” and participants will complete 5 beautiful cards while learning new and valuable stamping techniques. Here are images of the cards you will complete in this class.

My Mind’s Eye “Lost & Found” is on it’s Way to Captured Moments!

Store News and Events 1 Comment

While at CHA, we had the opportunity to meet many of the reps that we deal with over the phone or through e-mail. It was wonderful to put a face to a name and at the My Mind’s Eye booth, there was also A LOT of hugging going on! MME has the cutest, most good-looking, and did I mention sweetest men who run that outfit! (Hummm…Maybe that was why their booth was always so full of people?)

Here are the crew at My Mind's Eye, KC is our rep and he is standing next to Tiffany

Anyway, MME’s new lines are great. We couldn’t resist their new Lost & Found line especially since they have now added embellishments. Each of the four lines are accented with a touch of glitter here and a spot of shimmer there… it is really nice and between all four collections, there is something for everyone. We were told that Lost & Found will ship in the 3rd week of August, so it is almost here! Here is a sneak peek at the four lines within “Lost & Found”… Read the rest of this entry »

***Hello Friends,

Students are encouraged to bring with you photos, ephemera, miniatures, favorite charms and any found objects to personalize your project.  Please keep the height to 2 inches or less.  You can choose one or more themes or have your piece be themeless.  Possibilities are endless.

Also; students please bring Gesso, Gel Medium, and a foam brush along with your regular tool kit, scissors, etc.

Make sure you pack a lunch and bring water or your choice of liquid refreshment as this workshop will be a full day.

Graphic 45 Blew us Away at CHA!

Altered Art/ Paper Crafting, Just for Fun!, Store News and Events 4 Comments

As exciting as the entire CHA experience was, Tiffany and I agree that we were blown away by Graphic 45’s presentation. Not only do we love all of their papers, (and now they have some awesome embellishments too) their booth was a step right onto their artwork and into their paper! Inside their booth structure, you felt like  Alice in Wonderland, with the Hallowe’en twist!

This illuminated clock tower rose above the convention floor making it easy for Tiffany and I to return to the booth over and over for another look!

The display was so full of interest and creativity we had to keep coming back, it was a sensory overload on top of a sensory overload from just being at CHA. Read the rest of this entry »

We Laughed With Pink Paislee’s “House of Three”

Just for Fun!, Store News and Events 1 Comment

These three Scrapbook Divas were awesome. Pink Paislee and “House of Three” had a beatuiful display with great creative ideas and inspiration.

House of Three

The “Parisian Anthology line is breathtaking. It was fun to watch their interaction and the way they could excite the crowd. So hands-on and down to earth, laughing and having so much fun with everyone… it was a pleasure to see them.

Paper Crown done the Parisian Anthology way!

Pink Paislee and the HOuse of Three were very generous with their give-aways… we didn’t win the entire Parisian Anthology line, but it was fun trying!!
