The Garden Journal edition of the Build Your Own Book Club has begun. Week #1 began on Friday, August 6th. This time around, instead of a progressive building of the pages, we decided to simplify things for the club and include all pieces to the two page layouts each week. It makes it a bit harder on us, but much easier for the club. Each week, both pages will be complete! Here are the two pages for week #1

We have combined some beautiful papers from My Mind’s Eye along with Prima flowers, colorful fibers and sparkling bling to make this album really special.

Our next BYOB which should begin in the Fall will be a Christmas Album, so watch for our posting for sign-ups for the next BYOB Club!

The July 2010 Kit Terrific Klub issue features Jillibean Soup’s “Talk Soup Kraft Collection” With papers called “A Cup of Yak” and “Jibber Jabber” you know it’s going to be a fun one!

Tiffany’s inspiration for “going green” with this month’s issue was remembering a great page layout we saw at a Crop-A-Lot retreat one year. This scrapbooker used a lot of “found items” on her pages including torn corrugated cardboard. It made for a very interesting look. Using a collection based in “kraft” items, we thought we could expand on this idea, creating sample page layouts to inspire ideas of “recycling” and using items on pages that you might have normally thrown out!
