There were a few themes that ran rampant throughout the convention floor at CHA Summer. We noticed that Flag Banners were all the rage as was dress forms, and Paris! We saw them everywhere and we saw some amazingly good ideas on how to use these themes to really make a statement. Maya Road loves chipoboard and layers and we were inspired by their creations to create this Make & Take.

Using scallops and accordians, buttons and paper flowers, this collage makes a great decoration for many occasions!

The possibilities are endless with this idea. Use any paper combos to change the theme, any embellishments to further the possibilities. Imagine a Holiday theme and attaching this beautiful ornament to a special gift box. These are so fun to make and is a GREAT way to use up scraps of paper and left over embellishments!

Here is a quick and easy project you can do with scraps of ribbon, a few fibers, a bit of left over paper, & a bottle that probably would have wound up in the recycle bin!

as an extra special touch, add some sand from your travels, write your favorite memory and place it in the bottle!

Tuesday’s Make and Take project is so simple, yet so beautiful. This one offerered lots of options and individuality after the base hanger was created. This project is perfect for using up some of your odds and ends that begin to pile up in your scrapbook bag!

Use a vintage photo or one of your own, any other embellishment will do! A great way to make use of the odds & ends in your scrap bag!
