Tiffany created this pretty tea light holder out of an old piece of stair balluster, a couple of old silver spoons, wire and some pretty glass beads. The spoons are slightly hammered to reduce the curvature of the bowl, making them a bit flatter to hold the tea light candle.
The spoon handle then gets a tiny hole drilled through it (Tiff’s husband has all the tools anyone could need, so that is helpful!) Before attaching the spoon to the wood, Tiffany creatively spirals and wraps the heavy gauge wire around the piece while adding colorful beading into it. The spoons are attached with thin finishing nails.
If you noticed the words that are tapped into the spoons, “Live”, “Love” and “Laugh”, they were added with a metal stamper. This is a stamp set that is hammered into the metal.
To finish off the piece, Tiffany added a crystal knob to the top. This candle holder adorns her outdoor patio and is a pretty addition to the area!
