A Magnificent Dry Erase Board Project
Altered Art/ Paper Crafting, Just for Fun!, Scrapbook Inspiration Gallery!A friend of ours showed us a great idea for using a picture frame with glass as a Dry Erase Board where you could scrap out the inside and write over the artwork on the glass… awesome idea! We used this idea to make a beautiful dry-erase board to write messages to our customers and have it hanging behind our reception desk for all to see.
The picture frame, with glass intact, makes a great dry erase board. We scrapped out the inside and then added embellishments under the glass as well as on top of the glass to give the project a 3-D effect.
We used the original mat from the framed picture because it was a beautiful teal linen mat. We then added some Basic Grey Basics lined paper to serve as a backdrop for our messages. The woman that is placed in the bottom corner is from a 12×12 paper we had at the store… part of a travel line. We added features to her hat, flowers and crystals that accent her style so perfectly. Here is a close up of the woman…
Theses images can only give you a hint to how beautiful this piece came out. In person, it is so much better!
We have so much more to show you… keep watching!
