Captured Moments welcomes the Little Fat Book Club hosted by Melanie Phillips. We held the first meeting on Tuesday, March 16th from 6-8pm at the store (2088A Cuury Road, Rotterdam, NY 12303). The turn out was wonderful and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Here is a sample of a Little Fat Book 4x4 page also known as Chunky Books, these mini pages are mini works of art. All types of media are used to create these very interesting conversation pieces.

This club will continue to meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm. The Club host is Melanie Phillips. The club fee is $10 (cash or check, only, please… paid to Melanie directly) You are not required to pre-register but a head’s up that you are coming, especially if you are new, would be helpful. We are so excited about the new Graphic 45 paper lines. Of course, we always love Graphic 45 anyway, but getting their 3 newest paper lines in the store is very exciting! Here is a peak at some of the papers. We ordered all 3 lines complete and we have a feeling it won’t last long on our shelves!!

This week’s Page Express scrapbook page kit and last week’s were designed to work great as a doubel page layout. Using Kaisercraft paper in shades of green, I added K&Co. embossed frames and some Ancestry sticker accents to complete the set.

Doesn't it remind you of a hallway in a big, old, victorian house?

For some reason, I can’t seem to get away from the heritage, old fashioned feel of this series of pages as well as last months. This series has a very different look, using embossed frame die cuts from K&Co. Next week’s page is a perfect compliment to this one making a great double layout!
