Here are some great fall/early winter classes we have lined up so far. Beginning at the end of October, and spanning through to a few January dates, we will continue to add classes as we get them! The classes here are listed according to the date they are scheduled for.

We call this class, ‘Maura’s Wacky Calendar” Book Class. This class will be held on Friday, October 23rd from 6pm-9pm. The class fee is $22.00

“Art Impressions” Technique Class with Joey Henderson. This class is scheduled for Friday, October 30th from 6pm-9pm (10/30 class is now full), OR Monday, November 2nd from 6-9pmThe class fee is $48.00.

In this class you will not only create three beautiful cards, but they will look like you hand-painted them. They are suitable for framing, actually. As part of the class fee, you will receive your own set of 14 stamps, 6 starter markers and also an acrylic blending pallet and the paper needed to create the three cards. You will also have the option after the class to order more stamps from the Art Impressions catalog as well as additional brushes. We guarentee that you will ove this class and be amazed at what you can create…

This class has very limited seating (we had to add an additional class session to accommodate everyone!) due to the intensity of the instruction (we want to make sure Joey can work with everyone as much as they need it so we are limiting it to 8 participants… it is not difficult)

“Glitter Santa” Class. This class is scheduled for Thursday, November 5th at 6pm-9pm. The class fee is $36.00.

OK, this is another really neat class. We are very excited to offer it. This Old World Santa Face is stamped on stampable acrylic sheets and then with a special glue applicator, glue is applied to the sheet, within the stamp lines of the image. Then, super-fine glitter is applied over the glue, color by color, (with some patience in between) until the face is covered. Once dried, the glittered acrylic is turned over to reveal the now protected glittered surface and the result is a beautiful image worth framing. As part of the class fee, you will receive the glue, special glue applicator tip and all of the glitter colors needed to complete this project as well as a static sponge. The static sponge is necessary when using the super fine glitters. (After you learn this technique,you will be able to make many of them, which could make great Holiday gifts!) The santa stamp used in the class will be available to purchase as well as additional glitter colors and acrylic sheets.

Cosmo Cricket’s “Jack’s World” Box O’ Cards class. This class is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th at 11am-2pm. The class fee is $22.00.

This class uses the Cosmo Cricket black board card box and the Jack’s World paper line to create a covered card box and 6 kid-themed cards with envelopes. We will be using the Jack’s world chipboard shapes with the corresponding cardstock stickers. It’s fun and colorful and versatile. This class is limited to 10 participants.

“Gingerbread Man J-O-Y” Decoration. This class is scheduled for Tuesday, November 17th at 12:00 non until 1PM. The class fee is $12.00.

This class uses our gingerbread man die cut and each little guy holds a letter spelling the word “JOY”. We will also use a paint media that puffs as it dries creating those piped frosting accents you see on gingerbread men. Each hanger will also feature a “sugared” gum drop accent. This is a class we are offering at the Crop-A-Lot retreat in Saratoga and thought we’d offer it in-store during the week between our retreats!

“Snowflake” Cards using the Big Shot and Shapebilities. This class is scheduled for Monday, November 30th at 6pm-9pm with Joey Henderson. The class fee is $30.00 (includes a shapability)

You will learn the ins and outs of the new shapebility and nestability templates that offers cutting and embossing while adding dimension and interest to your piece. You will create 3 beautiful cards in this class while learning this relatively new process.

Lindsay’s Technique Class. This class is scheduled for Saturday, December 12th at 11am-2pm. The class fee is $20.00. In this class, Lindsay will teach you a minimum of 6 paper craft techniques while creating 6 beautiful holiday-themed cards. These sample images show an array of techniques used.

Coffee Table Canvas Book with Lindsay’s Renz. This class is scheduled for Saturday, January 9th at 11 am-2 pm. The class fee is $22.00.

Lindsay has created this book using art canvas boards… really neat idea. They are actually hinged together and then a paper album is created on the inside. Lindsay chose warm, earthy colors giving this project a nice distressed appearance.

Puzzle Page Class. This class is scheduled for Saturday, January 12th from 12 noon to 1pm. The class fee is $12.00. Using our 12″x 12″ Puzzle die cut, you will create a really awesome scrapbook page that is also a puzzle. This project will really get you thinking “outside the box” when it comes to doing your scrapbook pages! Your page would accent any scrapbook as well as make great framed wall art. (We will post an image as soon as we can)
