2010 crop Schedule at Captured Moments

January 8th 2010 (Friday) 6pm-midnight
“Getting Your Feet Wet” Crop $30
This 6 hour crop is intended for those who are interested in attending a crop but are a bit overwhelmed by the idea. We will offer some basic “Crop 101″ workshops throughout the evening, including workshops on tool use, rubber stamping techniques, how to prepare for a “crop event” and for the real beginners, some basic scrapbooking instruction like paper coordinating and
layering. (We will limit croppers to new croppers only, until a week before the crop date, then we will allow additional participants to sign-up, if space is still available)

5th Annual “Cropical Get-Away” Crop $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

A perfect “tropical” theme warms us up in cold January. Our 5th annual Cropical getwaway to date and it just keeps getting better each year!

February 7th 2010 (Sunday) 10am-6pm
“Soup-er Bowl” Sunday crop $30

An eight hour crop for those who aren’t that interested in the Super-Bowl. We feature great Soups during this crop along with other great game-day fare. (And those who actually do like football, the game doesn’t really start until 6:30-something anyway!)

February 27th 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight
“A Comfy Cozy” Crop $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

This crop is all about the food! We will feature all those yummy, warming foods we crave in the cold of winter… you know, Hot Cocoa, Mac & Cheese, chocolate cake… all Captured Moments style!

March 20th 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight
“A Feed the Community” Crop $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

At Captured moments, our crops do center around the foods we serve. We decided to turn one of our crops into a food drive (a great suggestion, by the way, from our Blog contest). Many times, food collection is prominent during the holiday months so we thought collecting food during an off month might be even better. To attend the crop, you must bring in a non-perishable or canned good. If you choose to stay the extra 3 hours from 9pm-midnight, we will waive the $5 fee for your food donation.

“Disney Meets Captured Moments” Crop $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

There is so much Disney scrapping going on at our crops, we thought it would be fun touse Disney as a crop theme.

May 1st 2010 (Saturday) 10am-6pm
“National Scrapbook Day” Crop $15

It’s National Scrapbook Day, what more can we say! Come in and scrap for the day. The crop fee will cover lunch,beverages and snacks. Special prizes and give-aways in honor of National Scrapbook Day too.

May 7th 2010 (Friday) 6pm-midnight
“Pajama Party” Crop $30
Yes, you should wear your PJ’s and be comfortable. We turn up the tunes and eat pizza and wings and do all that pajama party stuff!

May 22nd 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight
“Survivor on Captured Moments Island” Crop $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

Complete with teams, challeges and immunity idols, we will play this one out ’til the end! May the best scrapper win!

June 26th 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight $55 ($60 ’til midnight)
“Wild West Hoe Down” Complete with the cowboy hats, bandanas and cowboy boots!

July 24th 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight
“Christmas in July” $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

This will be our 5th Christmas in July Crop. We do the whole “Christmas dinner” feast with music, Christmas tree and holiday gifts!

August 28th 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight
“Hippie 60’s” Crop” $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

I think the name says it all. Dig out some bell bottoms, flowered tops and put on the peace sign necklaces.

September 25th 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

This will be our annual Anniversary Crop, and as it has been our tradition, we honor our parents in this crop and do all-out Italiano! The best home made sauce and lasagne.(Our Dad’s secret family recipe)

October 23rd 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight
“Spooktacular” Crop $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

Yep, we are going to go the Spooky, Halloween route and have an “all hallows ball”! Feel free to come dressed as your favorite ghoul!

November 27th 2010 (Saturday) 9am-midnight
“Vegas Night” Crop $55 ($60 ’til midnight)

We promise… what happens at Captured Momemts stays in Captured Moments, especially at Vegas Night!

December 11th 2010 (Saturday) 10am-6pm $20
“Pot Luck” Dinner

We usually don’t hold a crop in December just because of the busy days around the holidays, but we thought a Pot Luck Dinner Crop was an awesome idea. Of course, everyone has to brings something to share and we will assign either a brunch, dinner, or dessert item as we get closer to the date.

Wow, 2010 will be a wonderfully busy year! Believe it or not, many of these new 2010 crop dates are close to being full! If you are interested in signing up for any crop next year at Captured Moments, please let us know. We do keep a waiting list and many times, we work the waiting list into crop seats!
