I have to apologize… I did not post all of the sample page layouts Tiffany created from both the June and July Kit terrific Klub issues. (The Kit Terrific Klub is captured Moments’ monthly scrapbook kit club.) I have posted the additional sample scrapbook pages on the web-site, but forgot to post them in the blog! Here they are in case you still need some inspiration for these kits!

Wordle is a really neat tool that can totally be used in scrapbooking! It’s a website where you can take any text, song lyrics, poems, or any string of words you want and mix them up into a cool word cloud that can then be printed. Basically you can create custom titles or tags. The web-site is www.wordle.net. Here is a sample of what I am talking about if you have never seen this in action.

For this Wordle, I copied and pasted the lyrics to John Lennon’s “Imagine”… here is what wordle did to those words.

Can you believe we are already into the 4th week of our B.Y.O.B. club? Time flies when you are having fun… So this week, we will be working on pages 6 and 7. The extra embellishment we are adding this week are Designer Eyelets and Snaps. We will use them this week, and also in weeks 6,7 and 10. We will also go back to week 2 and add to page 2. We will be using embellishments from week #1 (ribbon), week #2 (chipboard scroll and heart) and week #3 (crystals). It’s getting a little more exciting, huh?

Do you love to go garage sale hopping? Some of the things Tiffany and I look for when we are checking out someone’s garage sale are old board games. Especially scrabble and monopoly. If you can pick up a game for 50 cents or even a dollar, it is worth it just for the letter tiles and the games pieces themselves. Recently, Tiffany came across a tin of dominoes. Nothing fancy, they were just plastic with colorful dots, but they make great altered art pieces! With a little sandpaper, some interesting miniature prints and embossing powder, look what we did!

Made out of a plastic domino, this piece makes a great pendant for a pretty summer outfit!

Week #3 of the B.Y.O.B. project covers pages 4 and 5. This week’s extra embellishments are “Say it in Crystals” by Prima Marketing. These little sparklers add so much punch in such a little package to these pages. We will use these crystals this week as well as in weeks 4,6,9 and also we will go back to week #1 and add to page 1. The other extra embellishment you will see on these pages will come in week #9.
