Gelly Roll Pens by Sakura, A Great Embellishment Tool
Altered Art/ Paper Crafting, Page lay-out Ideas, Scrapbook Inspiration Gallery!, TutorialsThis is probably not new news to many, but we recently discovered a wonderful use for these awesome Gelly Roll Pens (by Sakura). Check out this 8×8 scrapbook page and then look a little more closely at it…

I found images of these bouys on Google. I printed them on card stock paper, cut them out, inled them and then used the Gelly Roll Pen to accent them. They look like stickers, but they are totally home made!
Here is another image of those hand made Bouys. Again, I found good images on Google and simply printed them on a quality cardstock. inked their edges and accented them with the Gelly Roll Pens!
These are the wonderful pens we used…

Gelly Roll Pens come in many colors, glitters and shimmers. They add a subtle touch that makes a BIG difference.
I used it again on the opposite page of this double page layout…
I hope the images successfully show the hint of sparkle that the Gelly Roll Pens add. It’s subtle, but it really adds so much to the page.

I found this great image on Google and printed it on cardstock. I inked the edges and then added a touch of sparkle to the edges. I also added a bit to the water's highlights which really looked great!
We hope you find this article helpful… When you can’t find a sticker or an embellishment that you are thinking about… Just make one yourself!

That’s a great technique, I have done something like that with clipart I have found on the internet but not with those pens. Noot sure I have seen them before. The pages turned out really great.
