Captured Moments Clubs, Page lay-out Ideas, TutorialsWeek #3 of the B.Y.O.B. project covers pages 4 and 5. This week’s extra embellishments are “Say it in Crystals” by Prima Marketing. These little sparklers add so much punch in such a little package to these pages. We will use these crystals this week as well as in weeks 4,6,9 and also we will go back to week #1 and add to page 1. The other extra embellishment you will see on these pages will come in week #9.

Once you have laid out the parts follow these photos…
Layout the papers as shown, creating a faux strip with the red patterned paper, behind the photo mat
Placement of the photo mat on page 4, The faux red strip is a good technique to use when you need your paper to go a long way!

Finally for page 4, (remember, an additional element will be added in week #9), we will add this week’s extra embellishment, the crystal clusters.

Now we will move on to page 5! This is easy, isn’t it! Hopefully, while you are building this book, you are seeing some ideas and techniques that you hadn’t tried before! Let us know.
Layout all of the parts for page 5 and make sure all the pieces are accounted for
We will use the same “trick” on this page, creating a faux strip for behind the photo mat.
Adhere all papers down for this page as shown
Placement of the paper embellishments used on this page as well as the photo mat
Trim the transparency around the shape of the bird leaving the bottom squared for easy placement. It will create a nice layer that will slightly go over the photo

Last step for page 5 (until week #9) is the placement of the crystals…

Now we will revisit page 1 to add some of the crystal embellishments received this week! Refer to the color photo provided in week #1 instructions as well as this guide for placement of the crystals.
