Build Your Own Book Club is Underway!

Captured Moments Clubs, Page lay-out Ideas, Tutorials

The Captured Moment’s B.Y.O.B. (Build Your Own Book) Club is underway and off to a great start! The 1st week issued on Friday, July 17th and includes the 1st and the 20th pages of the book. This article will demonstrate a step-by-step guide to putting these two pages together. Remember, some of your pages will not be complete until later weeks, when additional elements get added.

When you open your kit, make sure all of the pieces are accounted for and follow along. Between the instructional sheet included in the kit and this blog entry, you should have no problem!

Page #1 is a beautiful but simple page… as we move to Page #20 and other pages throughout this 10 week process, we hope that our B.Y.O.B. club teaches you some new techniques and offers new ideas to bring to other scrapbooking projects you do. Tiffany loves to layer papers and add lot’s of extras to a page. Our goal is to share our ideas and hope we are giving you some opportunity to try something you haven’t tried before!

Let’s move on to Page #20, the last page of the book and a little more involved!

Here are all of the parts needed for Page #20, the last page of the book

The tags that get added to this page just slip into the layers formed from adhering only the bottoms of the middle and lower sections. Some tags are complete and need no additional work while others need added embellishments and/or ribbon.

Here are all the tags used on Page #20 layed out. Also shown are two small paper embellishments that get added

The next series of images will attempt to show you how to tie the green ribbon on the green tags.  The green tags have a double hole punch and the ribbon is strung through in 3 quick steps.
