Something that continues to gain popularity in our wonderful world of scrapbooking are the “Word” Albums. These albums can be customized by specifying the word, letter by letter, or pre set words can be purchased. These albums can spell a name, a saying or a favorite word or expression. The possibilities are endless!

Tiffany created a great Word Album kit that spells I Love You (The Love is a heart and not the actual word “love”) The awesome thing about this is that she also turned this project into complete project kits! The kits that we create at Captured Moments are complete with everything you need to replicate the original sample.

The "I love You" Word Album

This book is fun and interesting. It has a lot of three dimensional embellishments and a photo mount on every page. The trick to covering the letters with paper is to trace the paper on the back side, do a rough cut with scissors and then fine the cutting with an ex-acto knife. We find that a good quality glue-stick (such as the UHU sticks) works best when adhering paper to the “naked” chipboard pages.

Of course one could recreate the sample project exactly (and you can with our kit) or you can venture outside the “kit” so to speak and mix things up a bit on your own! Either way, you will have fun with these “word” album books. Like I said in the beginning, the possibilities are endless
