I’m going to say a bit more about the popular “Word Albums”. They are perfect gifts for people who are not necessarily into Scrapbooking but do have an appreciation for what goes into it! We created a number of “B-A-B-Y” Word Albums for our showing at Baby Expo 2009 at the Empire State Plaza and they were a big hit. Of course, with these books, you can go one step further and personalize the album using the letters that spell the baby’s name. Something that continues to gain popularity in our wonderful world of scrapbooking are the “Word” Albums. These albums can be customized by specifying the word, letter by letter, or pre set words can be purchased. These albums can spell a name, a saying or a favorite word or expression. The possibilities are endless!

Tiffany created a great Word Album kit that spells I Love You (The Love is a heart and not the actual word “love”) The awesome thing about this is that she also turned this project into complete project kits! Tiffany and I decided to stir things up a bit and after probably three years, she has turned the job of creating our weekly Page Express kits to me as she has now taken over the weekly job of creating the Tuesday Make & Take projects. The April 2009 Crop event at Captured Moments was a blast! “April Showers” was our theme but there was not a cloud in the sky. In fact, we went from a kind-of spring to a hot summer-like day and reached a temperature into the 80’s! It was hard to stay inside to scrap with such nice weather, but by mid-day it was actually too warm. Our bodies aren’t use to that kind of heat yet, right? Thank goodness for air conditioning. This month’s Kit Terrific Klub featured paper line is S.E.I.’s Bridgeport line. This paper is crisp and clean and somewhat out of Tiffany’s comfort zone. Of course, she was able to work her scrapbook magic and produce four beautiful sample pages, among other interesting paper creations. What’s nice about this paper is that it is a sturdy, heavy weight and each printed selection has a special finish. In this blog entry, I will open this kit and explore it’s contents, piece by piece! OK, this is pretty new to me. I know what Blogs are, I’ve even visited a few (well, more than a few, I guess), but it’s kind of exciting to launch our very own. It is in it’s infancy, obviously… we have a lot of work a head of us. (All good!)

We would like to accomplish a few things with our blog. First of all, we want to make it fun, informative and definitely inspiring. You should see some changes to the Blog’s form as it grows and becomes all that we envision it to. This will be the Blog you can come to for new scrapbooking ideas, fun “how-tos” and tutorials, as well as the latest news and excitement surrounding Captured Moments, the scrapbook store.

Tiffany and I love what we do, not only with our scrapbooking projects themselves, but also as business partners in a great community. Having the opportunity to meet amazing people that also like what we do has inspired us to be the best at what we do.
